Their aim is to enable you make changes and improvements in your daily life.
EFT
Emotional freedom tapping helps people over come negative emotions like stress, anxiety, fear, grief, anger and guilt. It’s a relatively new innovative technique that’s a little like traditional therapy, except it has a physical element and it works in hours or minutes instead of months and years. One taps on acupressure points while connecting to their issues of concern
Michelle Hughes is a seasoned mountaineer and orienteer, and she is keen to apply the principles of EFT to businesses too. Her sense of passion and commitment to EFT is second to none. She will take you on one of the ancient green roads that abound in the Burren, or else along an ancient pilgrimage path to St Colman’s Hermitage below Eagle’s Rock.When you walk the land in conjunction with tapping the effects are far stronger. Thoughts cannot stagnate when your body is moving.
REIKI
Richard O’Donohue lives on land that belonged to his ancestors for generations. Gleninagh Castle and its holy well lie on his ancestral land, as well as “fulucti fiah” an archeaological feature fairly common in the Burren and an ancient sea wall built from Burren stones. Richard offers EFT and Reiki from his Soul Centre.
The land here beside the Atlantic has an expansive yet gentle feel to it, and is a perfect backdrop for a session of walking EFT- try it and see!
RAYNOR MASSAGE
If you would like a massage with a difference, then try Raynor’s Massage which is only on offer here for Co Clare and Co Galway. This excellent massage uses techniques from all over the world, combining them in a unique way for each client depending on what they are presenting. It is not a wishy-washy massage but an intense experience actively engaging with the client’s breath to unblock energies and stresses. It also uses meridians and reflexology. After such a massage clients usually feel a transformation in themselves.
We can also offer reflexology, an ancient art that applies gentle pressure to many points on the feet or hands, in order to stimulate a fresh blood supply and a balancing to the respective zones of the body that these points relate to. Very often a wonderful sense of well being ensues.
PENDULUM HEALING
In addition to these therapy sessions Jackie can offer you dowser-healer sessions. These sessions work well following a day out in the Burren where you will have tried your own hand at dowsing, and will appreciate the art if pendulum dowsing more. The pendulum is used as an intrinsic part of the session, leading us from one question, after any clearing, to the next. It aims to focus you on what changes are optimum for now in your life, and how to go about them. Those with whom she has already worked in this way have requested her do so knowing her interest and experience. They have found it very interesting and helpful. She bases it on the work of dowser Ramon Grace, combined with some principles of life coaching and her own sensitivities/intuition.
SEA KAYAKING
If therapies to help you unwind and reconnect are not for you, then why not take to the waters in a sea kayak? Lessons on a one to one basis with an experienced local kayaker can be arranged privately. In fact, if there is any activity you would like us to arrange please do ask. The aim is to allow you space to breathe, and to explore the environs of your mind as well as the landscape.
