The Spirit of Burren Workshop

This is an exciting way to connect with the Burren from another perspective. This new approach uses a local map of ley lines as a base for exploring the earth energies in a workshop held the Burren.The patterns that ley-lines create on maps often reflect a state of being that is key to understanding the landscape. In this case the Burren hosts some highly developed grid systems that seem to both support and generate as well as reflect a highly charged subtle energy field in the Burren. It is one way of interpreting why the Burren attracts so much interest from the discerning tourist and resident alike.

Held at the Hyland’s Hotel in the coastal village of Ballyvaughan in north Clare and in a private residence in Ardrahan South Galway these unique dowsing workshops draws on Jackie’s experiences using the pendulum and leading groups into nature to dowse. We will look quite closely at the nature of ley lines, and then examine the nature of a known earth grid in the Burren landscape. In addition, we can practise our dowsing in a variety of ways; on maps, at local sites such as ancient chapels and wells, and in a myriad of other applications. Jackie will introduce a beautifully composed “earth grid” in the Burren that was donated by international geometer Anthony Peart of Templar Mechanics. This earth grid is one of Ireland’s most interesting earth grids. Since living in the Burren Jackie has discovered interesting “evidence” for the existence of this intricate earth grid as well as noticing further ley lines and connecting earth grids.

Above all we can share our thoughts and discoveries on dowsing and ley lines, looking at dowsing per se and also for what it can achieve. This workshop is open to both novice and experienced dowsers.   It is an exciting participatory event that works with the magic of the land.
