These trans-Ireland spiritual tours organised by Jackie Queally can be arranged for self drive, putting you in touch with excellent local guides known personally to me. If you wish Jackie Queally to accompany you, she can do so in your own vehicle or if the group is large enough you hire me with a vehicle and driver. In either case she will endeavour to compile you notes that cover interesting places en route too, and give you an overview how the sites may be connected energetically to one another via a system of active ley lines.

Some of the places covered are early Christian sites of import, often having hosted the space for the copying of early psalters and manuscripts. These ancient ecclesiastical centres are most atmospheric. Some of the early Christian monks lived in Scotland too and it helps you realise the strong links between the two countries when the same names crop up in both places (She lived for many years in Scotland taking people to sacred sites, many of them being early Christian sites of great peace and beauty).

It is in the natural features though that Ireland comes into its own, with much of its folklore and mythology revealing at closer study a deep understanding of the earth energies inherent in the land. In the old days people would believe in fairies and nowadays with folk beliefs and folklore in Ireland largely dying off, it seems that the fairies/nature spirits often appear as unexplained light effects only visible when a photo has been developed, and not seen with the naked eye. (Conversely lights often appear on camera and yet when the picture is taken they are not visible). Often dowsing with a pendulum will reveal a spiritual energy present.
